Elster EnergyICT is pleased to announce it has been awarded with the latest international standard for the management of information security, ISO27001:2013. The certification is for their product R&D processes, further complimenting their SaaS services, which have been certified since 2013.

ISO/IEC 27001 is an internationally recognized best-practice framework for an information security management system. It helps companies identify the risks around important information and data and puts appropriate controls in place to help reduce risk.

Tom Ottevaere, Elster EnergyICT said:

“We successfully passed the formal assessment in July. This demonstrates complete compliance and provides our stakeholders with necessary confidence and trust that their data is protected. The development processes and systems used by our R&D and SaaS services gives us the flexibility to adapt controls to selected areas of the business.”

The awarding of the certificate to Elster EnergyICT highlights their commitment to provide innovative and relevant solutions to maintain the security and integrity of its customers’ data.
