Industry benchmark names EnergyICT as a global leader in building energy management software systems.
Elster EnergyICT announces that it has been named as one of eight key players globally, for their building energy management software system – Enacto™. The study entitled: ‘Green Quadrant Building Energy Management Software 2015’, carried out by Verdantix, was based on an exhaustive comparison of 27 building energy software vendors, against 130 functionality and vendor success metrics. EnergyICT has been named by the Verdantix study in previous benchmarks and today’s announcement sees them moving up the leader board. Based on the Green Quadrant analysis, Verdantix acknowledged that EnergyICT has strengths in commercial and retail building data capture, energy monitoring and targeting and workflow and task management linking into building maintenance. Dirk Den Haese, Global Director of Energy Management Solutions at Elster EnergyICT said: “We are delighted with this announcement. Being named as one of the leading key players in the global marketplace is a significant achievement for our business and proves our capacity to deliver a platform for energy-intensive sectors. We have continually sought industry improvements to our energy management software solution, specifically with multi-site commercial companies in mind, utilising our pioneering Enacto™ software. This latest accolade, clearly demonstrates our edge and commitment to deliver a comprehensive, accurate and actionable energy intelligence system to energy managers of multi-site organisations; allowing them to reduce energy costs and increase savings.” Derrek Clarke, Verdantix Industry Analyst and author of the report said: “We have been benchmarking this software category since 2008. In this year’s study, the behemoths in the industry have demonstrated their commitment to leading on functionality as well as momentum. EnergyICT has achieved the highest overall score for its ability to capture energy use data directly from building meters, with their Enacto™ solution scoring 2.9 out of 3.0 for its commercial and retail building raw data capture functionality.” “By considering all supplier offerings assessed in this study, we believe that EnergyICT should be included on shortlists by large firms looking to handle enterprise energy use and energy services firms seeking a robust energy management platform.” Launched in 2013, Enacto™ is a cloud-hosted platform with built-in intelligence and self-learning capability. It analyses data and automatically alerts energy managers to areas needing attention and is the latest version of the company’s energy monitoring management platform and portfolio. Optimum savings can be achieved with Enacto’s enhanced, flexible and granular reporting, across any asset or site measurement point. Verdantix will host a webinar: ‘Energy Management Software Product Assessment: Industry Behemoths Begin To Take Control’ offering insights into the study. ENDS.
